Awakened out of the doldrum, a voice of passion pleads. Proceed to take the call. Dare to drop your phone and go alone. It is a sacred hour. Separate yourself from society. Run into the secret place. Deep in God’s woods, is silence. Stop for a selah at the TREE OF LIFE.
And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. Ezek. 34:25
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Rev. 22:2
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. But if ye refuse, and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword. For the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Is. 1:18-20
Be ready, Heaven’s gate is ready to open your heart to revelation. Dropping truth from the throne, Scripture makes a straight path into your crooked mind. Softly, a gentle wind whispers Words of life into your suffering soul. Blowing flames into your forest of anxious thoughts, Holy Spirit fire burns down filthy rags of reason.
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron. Is. 45:2
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities like the wind, have taken us away. Is. 64:6
Christ Jesus takes an axe to your taxing thoughts, like fallen trees, whose rotting fruit sit upon barren soil. No need to hide. Jesus carried your worry out of view, it is nailed to the cross. His finished work mysteriously fashions you into His image.
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore, every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Matt. 3:10
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal. 2:20
Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Cor. 5:17
Jesus works fervently, creating a new harvest within your mind and heart. The Word performs and cleanses you from pity. Clearcutting hollow reason, Christ has good ground to plant His Word. Carefully tending His fragile seeds, faith emerges, executing grace into your problems. Unbeknownst to you, truth busily weeds out lies. Nothing is it to harm God’s precious child. Satisfied and pleased, the Savior springs life into your lame emotions. Soaring on wings of an eagle, you reach new heights and feel the Father’s heartbeat. Such grace gives way to praise and thanksgiving.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Ps. 51: 10
I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day. Isa. 27:3
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Cor. 2:16
Celebration calls in communion. Publish and proclaim what occurred in the secret, sacred place. Christ Jesus healed your crippled mind.
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matt. 26:28
Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him. Lk. 8:39
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Pet. 2:24
Hasten. A still small voice instructs you to arise, walk away from your worries. Thanksgiving will only follow trust.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds though Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7
Obedience permits peace to fill each vessel of your heart. God’s signet ring seals and protects you while His presence pursues your enemies. Little did you know, all evil backed off, as soon as you called His name.
If ye be willing and obedient, you will eat the best of the land. Isa. 1:19
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. 2 Cor. 1:22

Authority and power pierce through these valleys of death, awakening the smallest stone to cry out and salute the Savior.
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Lk. 19:40
Your senses become aware. Creation stirs as God walks by. Trees clap their hands and mountains sing as you view the straight path. Life blooms new buds and flowers, lining your future with roads of hope.
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Isa. 55:12

For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Job. 14:7
Like the dawn of day, your disposition has changed. Miracle rays cause depression to flee and delightful desires to appear. As the Prince of Peace leads, your plans develop into His. With priorities in place, a breezeway of permission sends the Spirit to speak. Confidently you proceed, without a care thwarting the way.
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. Ps. 40:8
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts. Col. 3:15
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Prov. 16:3
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Is. 30:21
Shun not solitude, neither let it scare you. Are not scarecrows built for birds in the field? not in your forest. Welcome this time in the woods, where the TREE OF LIFE awaits, and His miracles take place.

Thank you, Theresa, for sharing these scriptures and thought. Your teachings are a blessing to me and others.
Greetings Emily in God’ grace! I am grateful God’s Word is speaking and performing. Behind every post, I have a battle with my blog. Darts of doubt want to discourage me from publishing what is burning in my heart. However, I know the enemy doesn’t want Jesus to be presented and do it anyway. When I hear your response it is like angels delivering me a personal message to prod on. To be frank, I look at what I am writing and wonder if anyone really wants to read it! I share this because I know there are so many writings out there for people to be encouraged by and don’t consider myself anything but faithful to what God is prompting me to do. So this long response is to say, you have encouraged me to continue.
Thank you for a wonderful message! Each was a blessing!
So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. Isa. 59:19
Ida you are privy to the war when I write and am keeping the shield of faith in place to ward off the darts attacking my mind. Yes indeed we all experience those attacks when we do God’s will and really it shouldn’t take us by surprise. Now, may we expect the flood but know who is faithful to deliver us when it comes upon us! Jesus is our ark and we safely abide in Him!
